I got that close to Mexico, This is the Rio Grande

Nice Texas Road

My favorite picture of the trip. Just a rode on my late morning ride to Big Bend from Fort Davis.

Sunday, Day 2 Fort Davis State Park

It was a hazy morning in Fort Davis State Park, and most of these pictures are from the highest point of Fort Davis.

Finally a shot of me, with the camera on the bike

Mural in Midland

I couldn't resist taking this picture of a mural in Midland. I had to get the bike in the picture.

West Texas Rest stop

See the Oil well in the distance? This is a rest stop on Highway 20

The First big stop....Abilene

Abilene, Texas...Home to my dear friends David and Steph. Steph was there the day I learned to ski, so it was humorous for her to hear about my skiing 20 days in one season. David was my last college roommate, and he has always been a dear friend. It was great to stop by and see them.

Aunt Dorothy....the Start May 19th

My dear aunt Dorothy hosted my motorcycle for the last month of its stay away from me. I didn't have to worry about her starting my bike and letting it idle forever, causing irreparable damage I didn't have to worry about breaking up with her and having her slam it in a jealous rage. I now wish she had kept it the whole time I was gone.
